Summer at Primedy
Picture your kid the first week of fall sports. Moving with confidence. Stronger than they were in June. Already a step ahead. That's what summer at Primedy is built for — across two programs designed for two different age groups, both coached by the same standard.
Three full-day Adventure Quest weeks. Coach-led movement, park days, quests, and a mid-week bowling outing — while kids build foundational movement patterns and technique that translate to every sport they'll play.

EXCEL Student Athlete Intensives
Two four-week training blocks built for student athletes preparing for fall sports. Real strength work, real speed work, real coaching — capped at 10 athletes per session so every rep is seen and every cue lands. The goal is simple: walk into your fall season visibly more athletic than you walked out of spring.
Build the Base
Before you can perform, you have to move right. Block 1 is where athletes build the mechanical foundation — strength, movement quality, and the body awareness that makes everything else possible. Every athlete starts with a full baseline assessment. Every athlete finishes with a PR board.
Play Like a Pro
Block 2 is where the foundation becomes performance. Speed off the line. Explosive power. The conditioning to finish a game the same way you started it. Athletes enter Block 2 ready to push — and leave with combine-style numbers that prove it.
Tuition
$379 per block
$679 for both blocks (save $79). 12 sessions per block.
Schedule
Morning 9:00–10:30 AM or Evening 6:00–7:30 PM
Monday · Tuesday · Thursday. Capped at 10 athletes per session.
The Work
Strength, speed, and movement mechanics. Baseline testing on day one, full re-test on day 12 — athletes leave with proof of progress.
Why Both Programs Work
Different ages, different goals — but the same belief: kids and athletes do better when actual coaches pay close attention to them. Small groups. Real coaching. Real progress, summer through fall.
Capped on purpose
RISE caps at 12. EXCEL caps at 10. Small enough that every kid is seen, every effort is noticed, and every coaching cue actually lands.
Coaches, not counselors
Programs are led by Primedy's coaching staff — the same people who train our adult athletes. They coach kids, not babysit them.
Built for fall season
Whether your kid is 7 or 17, summer at Primedy is engineered to send them into fall stronger, more capable, and more confident than they were in June.
Parent Questions
How do I know which program is right for my kid?
Age is the cleanest indicator: RISE is built for ages 6–10, EXCEL for ages 11–17. RISE focuses on foundational movement, technique, and adventure. EXCEL focuses on athletic performance for kids who play organized sports. If your kid is on the edge of the age range, message us — we'll help you pick.
Can my kid do both RISE and EXCEL?
Only if they fit both age ranges, which is rare. Most families have one or the other based on age. If you have multiple kids across age groups, you can absolutely enroll one in each.
What are the RISE camp hours?
Camp runs 8:45am–2:45pm daily. Optional Extended Care is available from 2:45–3:45pm for an additional $59/week, pending a minimum of 4 campers enrolled. Extended Care availability is confirmed the week prior to camp.
How does RISE registration and tuition work?
Full payment is required per week to hold your child's spot. Cancellations less than two weeks out receive a 50% refund of tuition. Tuition includes daily Fuel Break snack, Primedy Camp shirt, bowling outing, and five days of structured programming. Once a week fills, registration closes.
What does an EXCEL training block include?
Each four-week block includes 12 ninety-minute sessions (Mon/Tue/Thu) led by two experienced coaches at a 1:5 ratio. Day one is a full movement screen and baseline assessment — strength, speed, and conditioning metrics personal to each athlete. Day 12 is a complete re-test, and athletes leave with a documented PR board and a plan to keep building. Block 1 focuses on strength foundations, movement mechanics, and core stability. Block 2 builds on that with speed mechanics, power development, sport conditioning, and combine-style testing.
Can my athlete do both EXCEL blocks?
Yes — and we encourage it. Block 1 builds the foundation, Block 2 applies it at speed and power. Together they represent the complete summer arc. The bundle price is $679 for both blocks, a $79 savings versus buying separately. Contact us to lock in your athlete's full summer spot.
Does my athlete need prior training experience for EXCEL?
No. Day one of every block includes a full movement screen and baseline assessment. We meet each athlete exactly where they are and build from there. EXCEL is open to athletes ages 11–17 across any fall sport — football, soccer, field hockey, volleyball, cross country, lacrosse, and more.
Where is Primedy located?
401 Center St. Unit #208, Mount Airy, MD 21771. RISE off-site outings stay close — Prospect Park, Wildwood Park, the Carroll County Library, Watkins Park, and Mount Airy Bowling Lanes are all within walking distance.

Spots are limited by design — RISE fills before EXCEL, historically. Pick your program and reserve a place.
